Beef
Herb Roasted Red Potatoes
Three Bean Salad
Corn Bread
Strawberry Shortcake
Ingredients:
Flour – 2 Tbsp
Salt – 2 tsp
Pepper – 5 Tbsp
Garlic Powder – 4 tsp
Onion Powder – 4 tsp
Paprika – 1 tsp
Beef Bouillon granules – 1 tsp
Dried Oregano – ½ tsp
Directions:
Blend all ingredients and place in air tight container. Makes 4 servings.
1. For Beef Steak: Press each side of the beef with 2 Tbsp of the Wild West Steak Rub and let stand about an hour (up to 4 hours) to absorb the flavor. Heat 2 Tbsp butter in pan until melted, add beef tenders and sear about 8 minutes per side for rare, 10 for medium and 12 for well done. (OR, Preheat grill to high. Clean and oil grates to prevent sticking. Brush a light coating of olive oil on beef. Place beef on grill and quickly sear beef on all sides over high heat. Turn grill down to medium and continue to grill 8-12 minutes per side (watching closely for fire flare-ups)). Remove the beef to a platter and allow to rest.
Have the kids make this steak rub and package in nice glass jars as a great gift for: Father's Day, Christmas Stocking Stuffers, Bus Driver Gifts, or Thank You to the Handyman."
