Kids are very accustomed to eating a breaded, fried, processed meat product (chicken nuggets and fish sticks). Ours use fresh cutlets, breaded with herbs and spices and baked - to lower the amount of saturated fats and sodium.
Many of our quick recipes include a fresh fillet of meat to be breaded, browned and covered with an unfamiliar sauce. We recommend using our sauces as dips for the kids. Serve the dinner entrees (cut into bite-sized pieces) with toothpicks to increase the fun factor at dinner time. The kids will be having such a great time, they won't notice that they are eating healthy, gourmet foods. They just know that they want you to serve it again.
Kids will eat more dinner if they have helped in the decision making and meal preparation. If you are making a stir-fry or soup that involves a variety of vegetables, let the kids choose which vegetables they want to include. You can then hold them accountable for eating their veggies of choice!
