Pepperoni Pizza Pasta

Pepperoni pizza pasta recipe for a quick easy dinner that can be ready in 30 minutes. Bowtie pasta is tossed with stewed tomatoes, roasted red peppers, basil, peppers, onions, mozzarella cheese and - oh, yes, sliced pepperoni. Kids will love it!

Ingredients:
Bowtie Pasta - 1 pound
Green Peppers, diced – 1 ½ cups
Onions, diced – 1 cup
Roasted Red Peppers, sliced – 1 ½ cups
Garlic, minced – 1 ½ Tbsp
Olive Oil – 1 Tbsp
Stewed Tomatoes – 1 ¾ cups
Basil, fresh, sliced into thin strips – 1 ½ tsp
Pepperoni, thin slices – ¼ cup
Black Olives, sliced – ½ cup
Mozzarella Cheese, shredded – ¼ cup
Pepper – ¼ tsp
Directions:
1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions and then drain in sink.
2. In a sautee pan, cook the Olive Oil, Green Peppers, Onions, Roasted Red Peppers, and Garlic until onions and peppers are soft.
3. Add the tomatoes and basil and cook for 10 minutes more.
4. Add drained pasta to pan and toss with remaining ingredients. Serve in large pasta bowl.
